Description

One night, as the group stopped to look at the sky, they noticed something strange.

There were no stars.

The vast darkness that usually watched over their journeys was completely empty, as if someone had turned off every light in the universe.

Anka looked up with worry.

“What if they never come back?” she whispered frightened.

Eliza didn’t answer right away. She sat on her broom, opened her great magic book, and let the wind gently turn its pages.

“Important things rarely disappear without leaving a clue,” she said with a smile.

From between the pages, a tiny glowing butterfly flew out and rose into the darkness, following a trail that nobody else could see. The group followed it beyond the mountains, where they discovered a giant cloud hidden above the world.

Inside the cloud were all the stars, kept safe like little shining crystals.

A small creature who lived in the cloud had collected them because it was afraid that one day the sky would become empty forever.

The group wanted to explain that the stars could not belong to just one person, but Eliza approached quietly.

She opened her book once more and let out her little rabbit, who began hopping around the stars, making them sparkle and dance. Then her wolf lay beside the creature, keeping it company.

Slowly, the little creature understood that stars shine brightest when everyone is able to see them.

Carefully, Eliza lifted her broom, and one by one, the stars returned to the sky, filling the night with light once again.

Anka looked at Eliza in amazement.

“Did you know that would work?” she asked.

Eliza closed her book and smiled.

“Not always. Magic is much easier when you listen before trying to change things.”
