Amaryne

Galapagos miniatures, March 2022. I just wanted to paint her.

This is another one of my favourite busts of all time. As i already mentioned i am a big fan of Galapagos miniatures and painting his sculptures is always a special thing form me.

This one in particular was in my cabinet half painted for a year or more, i always knew i wanted to do a very light skin, like Galadriel or Arwen, almost like emiting light from the inside, so i had to overexpose the lights a lot and rise the bar of the higlights in the entire figure.
