This figure has a bit of a petty motive behind. I went to a collector’s home and he had this collection of Kiril Kanaev’s figures…. I was so impressed with them that something inside me went super competitive for some reason. I am not competitive, at all, but those pieces put a fire in me, that’s how good they were.

I thought then, i should be able to do a NMM study of my own, and i started gathering images of real armours and paintings of armours and realised how many types of intepretations you can do of one single material. I picked one armour that was sort of rough and tried to emulate that effect on my piece.
